Capo Ferro Nature Trails

Guests of the Lighthouse Villa which is nestled in a spectacular promontory between two lighthouses just a couple of kilometers from Porto Cervo, can enjoy numerous walks along a number of nature trails in a vast protected area of Mediterranean macchia with breathtaking sea-views. Two lovely beaches are within easy walking distance, Cala del Faro and Cala Granu. Passing yachts and sailboats often liven the sea below.

In Spring and Autumn during the regatta seasons, the Lighthouse Villa provides a privileged exciting position to observe and admire the magnificent sailboats maneuvering at their best.

On the villa's one hectare private property there are several short winding walks among the rocks and natural vegetation to a raised outcrop where one can admire the colorful sunsets and the initial flashing of the Capo Ferro Lighthouse..

Along these walks you may encounter tortoises, porcupines, seagulls, doves, starlings, hawks, woodpeckers, cats and grouse. In Winter the elusive wild boar can occasionally be encountered crossing the road at night-time.
